To create a midweight sock that blends comfort, support, and an element of visibility, we needed to experiment with new yarns that would be up to the task. Testing in mild spring and fall conditions led us to ultrasoft polyester yarns blended with Lycra, which delivers a light compressive hold and a touch of insulation along the foot, ankle, and lower leg using our seamless construction. The unique hexagonal and square shape of the knit transfers moisture through the yarns to the outer surface, ensuring your feet stay dry and comfortable inside your shoes. From there we targeted the arch, wrapping it with a ribbed band for further support and boosted breathability, along with a contrasting reflective band along the Achilles for added visibility in low-light conditions. The spring/fall climaCode is now a prominent visual cue for layering and also assists in wardrobe organization.
